With a honey pairing menu HIVE Restaurant at Selfridges takes diners on a journey of the flavours, aromas and tasting notes of this wonder ingredient.
In the modernist interior paying homage to the key ingredient, diners dive in an immersive honey-inspired environment, and live an educational experience on the tasting notes of honey and importance of beekeeping.
From breakfast to dinner, the restaurant welcomes guests to enjoy a menu which encompasses a range of innovative dishes made with quality organic ingredients.
Reconnecting with Nature.
100,000 Western bees have found a new home in the restaurant’s hives (which diners can be view from the windows on the third floor, just opposite restaurant itself!)
The bees pollinate up to 3 miles radius with Selfridges as the epicentre, including flowers in Green-Park and Hyde-Park.
They are looked after by experienced beekeeper and conservationist Mark Patterson, who uses his expertise and knowledge to educate guests about the critical importance of bees in the ecosystem.
The honey is then used across Hive’s menu.
